Spot Uv Varnish

Embossing

The ultimate finish to your bespoke printed product is very tactile by raising areas such as logos or key words really adds dimension. Can be combined with Foiling.

Debossing

Using the same technique as Embossing to create an indentation.

Foil Blocking

If you want a really striking finish and add impact to a Brochure, Cover, Packaging. Business card or Letter Head then Foil Blocking is the answer. Comes in a huge range of colours, works very well with Embossing and Matt and Soft touch laminate.

Duplexing

Duplexing is the name given to the process of bonding two or more sheets of paper together to create a high quality finish. The process can be used to create two different textures or colours on the same sheet ideal for Business cards Invites or report Covers.

Perfect Binding

Perfect Binding is ideal for thicker Brochures, Magazines, Programmes and Reports. The Spine needs to be wider than 3mm. It’s a method where the pages and cover are glued together at the spine, the remaining edges are trimmed to give a clean perfect edge and a nice flat spine that can carry printed information. PUR Binding is the same method but uses stronger glue more durable.

Saddle Stitching

A very popular binding method used for Brochures, Programmes, Booklets and Newsletters . Normally two staples bind the pages together, much more cost effective than Perfect Binding, up to around 64 to 80 pages depending on paper weight, must be in multiples of four.

Wiro Bound

Wiro Bound or Wire Bound is ideal for Presentations, Notebooks, Recipe Books, Manuals and other reference documents, especially if you want the document to lie flat or fold back on itself.

Metallic And Pantone Spot Colours

We can print Metallic and spot Pantone colours on our Litho presses. Metallic inks are a cheaper alternative to Foiling but can still create a stunning finish, better results are achieved on coated silk or gloss stock.

Spot colours may be required for accuracy to achieve a corporate house colour for consistency, particularly on those important elements like logos rather than produce it out of CMYK or for Letterheads, Business cards and Invoices.
